Before you begin
Hosting requirements and safeguards
- Debian or Ubuntu host (a small VM is fine) and a dedicated public hostname
- At least 1 Gbps of bandwidth — capacity is verified by periodic audits (lower rates are validated against your declared capacity)
- DNS-only record pointed directly at the host
- Public TCP ports 80 and 443, with declared capacity
- No Cloudflare proxy in the measurement data path
- No certificate or measurement signing secret for you to manage
- Private endpoint container port; short-lived, endpoint-scoped measurement tokens

Up to three healthy endpoints may participate in a test plan. An endpoint must be approved, enabled, current, and healthy before it is selectable; you can disable yours at any time.
